Jim married my wife Alana & I in Feb 2014, Jim was fantastic and a real professional. He came over the house to introduce himself when we were looking at celebrants and we knew straight away that Jim was the celebrant for us. He made us feel at ease throughout the whole process, which was a bit of a daunting time. We didn't really have an idea as to what a celebrant should be, but after meeting Jim & having him as our celebrant we now know it's someone that can ease your nerves on the big day, guide you in the right direction when forgetting an easy line, showing the upmost professionalism but at the same time being someone you want to have a beer with afterwards! Jim! What can I say? I feel like it was absolute fate that I was lucky enough to find you on the internet, your warm smile and friendly nature immediately assured me that we had made the right choice in celebrant. You were very informative and helpful throughout the entire way and made the whole process a breeze. I can't stress how special it was having a celebrant who literally made the ceremony feel like one of our own family members was marrying us! The compliments and requests for your number have been endless...... and it was so lovely seeing you only a few months later at a friend's naming day (another one who found you at our wedding) Jim from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for making our day what it was, and quite clearly have no hesitation whatsoever in HIGHLY recommending you to every engaged couple out there!!

Jim was everything that Rory and I wanted in a celebrant and more. As soon as we met him, we knew that he was the man that we both wanted to be part of our special day. Jim made our wedding ceremony about the occasion and not the legal requirements that need to be covered in each service. He made it fun, enjoyable and kept everyone engaged while we exchanged vows and said “I do”. We honestly couldn't have imagined it any other way and would recommend him to everyone that asks (except our friends as he is our special Jim). I recall we were a little nervous when we set out to find a celebrant. We didn’t know what we were doing at all, which is why we were so lucky to find you! Once we met we simply knew we wouldn’t need to speak to anyone else as you made us feel so at ease. You had all the legal stuff under control, and plenty of material for us to create and decide upon a ceremony, including help with our vows. You took care of absolutely everything from designing a ceremony that was true to us, to fighting for what we wanted, and you even paid for the coffee every time we got together! You also took the time to hold a rehersal which helped everyone involved to prepare and calm the nerves. You truly cared about our big day and made us feel special, you even personalised our ceremony with your own touch which was beautiful. Every time we met up with Jim it was like meeting up with an old friend! He was always smiling, laughing and joking, keeping the mood light and friendly but always getting the job done. He was extremely flexible with our choices of vows and the way we wanted the ceremony structured. He had the experience as well to suggest some components which made the ceremony that little bit more special. We had confidence in his confidence. He even wore a pink tie to help blend in with our colour theme! We were very happy with Jim's services and would recommend him to anyone who is wanting to get married. He is a top bloke!

My husband and I were pretty clueless when it came to what was involved in the ceremony and how to write our vows but we struck gold when we met Jim. From our first meeting, my husband and I felt so comfortable with him and all our worrying had been for nothing. Jim gave guidance and support to us from day 1 and gave us so many ideas and options so that our ceremony would be unique. Jim also organised all the paperwork for the day and our Marriage certificate was waiting for us at home when we arrived back from our honeymoon. He did absolutely everything for us and it was such a relief as it was 1 less thing that we had to worry about in the crazy lead-up to our big day. By the time the day arrived, I felt like Jim was part of the family. He was cool, calm and collected and made everyone feel at ease on the day. I had a number of people come up and comment on how good Jim was (especially my mum, now THAT is a compliment… trust me!) We are so thankful that Jim was a part of our special day and I highly recommend him if you want someone with a kind heart and a genuine interest in you as a couple.
